Sanrio Small Gift Crate – October 2017

While this quarter’s box was smaller in size than last quarter’s it still packed a punch!

The October 2017 Sanrio box theme was tasty and while nothing was edible 🙂 It’s still a pretty tasty box.

First look

The goodies

Sanrio Lunch Bag
$28 US for a similar lunch bag in the Sanrio Official Online Store

This was one of my favourite items this month. It’s so cute and practical. I love things that have a purpose!

Loot Crate says – “Enjoy your lunch or snacks with your Sanrio friends every time you use this bag! The insulated tote features multiple characters and is freat for work, school, the beach or anywhere else you may want to bring some nibbles (which you can put in the Gudetama Bento)!”

Gudetama Bento Box
$18 US for a two piece lunch box set in the Sanrio Official Online Store

My second favourite item this month was the super cute Gudetama Bento Box and I love that it fits perfectly into the lunch bag. I think this would be great to put in some snacks for a picnic.

Loot Crate says – “Gudetama may be lazy but not so lazy that it can’t keep your food safe and organised! This BPS-free bento is adorned with everyone’s favourite lazy egg and secured with clasps on the side, Pairs perfectly with the lunch bag also included.”

Silicone Coaster Set
$21.45 US for a cork coaster set in the Sanrio Official Online Store

These drink coasters are sure to brighten up anyone’s day. I’m thinking of putting one on my desk to cheer up my work space.

Loot Crate says – “Hello Kitty, Chococate, Cinnamoroll and Gudetama love treats as much as you do! Protect tables from drink condensation (or just decorate them!) with these supercute coasters.”

Dokidoki Yummychums Apron
$38 US for a similar apron in the Sanrio Official Online Store

This is perfect for a fun dinner making burgers or cooking up a storm at the BBQ. I’ve gifted this to my husband 🙂

Loot Crate says – “We all like a little company while we’re cooking! Dokidoki Yummychums is ready to be your sous chef of encouragement as you make your favourite meals or try a new recipe! This tie-back apron will keep you looking festive while protecting your clothes from splashes and spills that sometimes come with cooking or barbecuing.”

What would a Sanrio box be without some little trinkets? I love the squishy fries and the cute Hello Kitty magnet, which I promptly stuck on my fridge.

Hello Kitty Hot Dog Plush
$18 US for a similar (but not as cool) plush in the Sanrio Official Online Store

Loot Crate says – “The cutest little hot dog you’ve ever seen! Hello Kitty is snug as a bug in this squishy bun, which sits on a paper food tray – just like how you get it at the fair! Keep this on your desk, bed or anywhere else you could use some mustard-covered sunshine.”

Chococat Squishy
$9.40 US for a similar squishy in the Sanrio Official Online Store

Loot Crate says – “You can’t have a hot dog without a side so we’ve made this squeezable Chococat-shaped “box of fries” to go with the Hello Kitty plush. Whether you’re cooking or eating. It’s an adorable way to relieve a bit of stress!”

Gudetama Charm
$5 US for a similar Gudetama Charm in the Sanrio Official Online Store

Loot Crate says – “Gudetama is an eggcellent addition to the Sanrio Small Gift Crate charm collection! This sturdy metal charm comes with a lobster clasp so you can add it to a bracelet of necklace with ease.”

Sanrio Magnet Trinket
$2 US guesstimation 🙂

Loot Crate says – “We think you’ll be very attracted to this trinket! You’ll get one magnet featuring Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Pompompurin or Bonbonribbon.

How much does it cost?

Loot Crate is an US based company that ships internationally. The box costs US $37.99 plus shipping and handling. If you want to get $5 off your first box, use my Loot Crate referral link.

Is it worth it?

This is my third Sanrio Crate Small Gift Box and I’ve enjoyed every box! I love Hello Kitty and this is a fun way for me to get a little does of that childhood fun every quarter. I worked out the value to be just under $140 US dollars which equates to more than triple it’s costs.

Who should subscribe to this box? Hello Kitty and Sanrio fans. This would make a great gift too!

The theme for the 2017 Christmas Box

The theme for next quarter is Sweet Dreams and it will feature Hello Kitty, My Melody, Chococat, Little Twin Stars, Keroppi and Pochacco.

Orders close on 15 December for this box. So I imagine it will ship late December.

For the theme ‘Sweet Dreams’ I hope to see a cute PJ top, slippers or an eye mask. I also wouldn’t mind a cute Hello Kitty pillow slip. What do you hope will be in the next Sanrio Gift Crate Box?
