This is my fourth StudioWedBox. I get pretty excited when I see this one at the Post Office. I’m finding wedding subscription boxes are great for wedding inspiration and tips.

This month’s theme was ‘Get ’em booked’ and gave some tips on how to pick your wedding vendors.

My fave tip was – ‘A good match with your personality is just as important as being a good match for your style and budget’.  I think that is so true, it is so much easier to work with people that you get along with! I’m yet to choose any wedding vendors still trying to decide on a location – in our home town or a destination wedding!

The products

PartyLite tealight candles in Iced Snowberries
Sample size – 2 candles (the candles usually come in a pack of 12)
Sample value $3AUD

Unfortunately I couldn’t see this item mentioned on the explanation card. However I do really like these cute tealight candles as they are good quality, smell nice and I like that the little base they sit in is plastic. I’m so clumsy and glass candles always worry me. I’m excited to try these out.

Mint nail polish in ‘I Do.’
Sample size 15ml
Sample value $12US

StudioWedBox says – ‘ Mint nail polish, “I Do”, is the perfect color for your big day. “Inspired by the color of blushing peonies, Mint’s premiere bridal color is creamy, classic, and effortless to wear.”

This nail polish is a super pretty light pink colour, perfect for a bride. This nail polish is also five free meaning that it doesn’t contain formaldehyde, DBP, torulene, camphor, and formaldehyde resin. So that is great to know there aren’t those nasties in this polish.

It’s so big volumising mascara by Elizabeth Mott
Sample size 4ml
Sample value $7.99US

Lash Card
Sample size – 1 card usually comes as a pack of 10 cards
Sample value $0.69US

StudioWedBox says – ‘Don’t forget to book your beauty needs early for your wedding day… many hair and makeup artists get booked very quickly! And for an extra bonus we threw in one of our favorite beauty finds, It’s so BIG Mascara and Lash Card by Elizabeth Mott.’

I have never tried either of these products before, so it will be nice to give them a whirl. I like that this box contained some makeup goodies for the bride to test out.

Love calico carry bag by the Wedding Chicks
Sample value $10US

StudioWedBox says – ‘Wedding Chicks is not only a great blog for you to follow, but also has a store filled with everything from personalized goods to grooms gifts. This tote is perfect to take with you when your meeting with your vendors to fill with goodies and contracts.’

I’m a huge fan of calico carry bags, and this is super cute! I’m also glad to have been introduced to the Wedding Chicks blog and store. The wedding calico bags and tea towels are so cute, definitely on the list of possible favour items for guests and the bridal party.

Learn to Speak Wedding Flash Cards for Beginners
Sample size five cards (the full set contains 50 flash cards)
Sample value $2.99 US

StudioWedBox says – ‘Wedding vernacular seems foreign to those new to nuptials, but with these Speak Wedding flashcards, anyone can speak Wedding with confidence. It’s the perfect gift for a newly engaged couple and a fun new bridal shower trivia game!

These flash cards are really pretty to look at. I’m not sure how to fun a game it would be to play, though. One of the flash cards I received was FOB (Father of the Bride). I totally have to watch that movie again!

How much does it cost?

StudioWedBox has a 12 month ($29.99US), six month ($34.99US) and monthly ($39.99US) option for the US and Canada. International shipping of $10US per month is available on the $39.99 option, making it $49.99 a month. The international shipping option takes approximately 15 plus days.

I’m in Australia, so I am using the international shipping option. Using today’s US dollar, it would cost $64.40 AUD.

Was it worth it?

I quite enjoyed this box. I’ll use everything, and it sent me on a little adventure exploring ideas on the Wedding Chicks website.

There was over $35US worth of goodies in this month’s box. So if you purchase either a six month or 12-month subscription in the US, you have come out just in front value wise. However I think the value in this box is its curation, so for me, I got value out of this even though I spent that little bit more with the shipping and currency conversion.
