Barnyard Dance by Sandra Boynton
What is not to love about a book that combines dancing with animals in Sandra Boynton’s classic style.
This book surprisingly took a few goes for Chloe to get into as it had a few unfamiliar words – promenade, twirl, strut, prance and trot. But once she got used to these new words, it has become a firm favourite.
Very first book of things to spot by Fiona Watt
This book has lots to look at and discuss. It isn’t a literary classic but more of a fun activity to do with your toddler. I have been quite surprised by the things that Chloe knows and can spot. It’s like a toddler version of Where’s Wally. There are prompts e.g. Find a pink cat. But there are so many different little details in the images that you could make up additional things to spot as well.
This could be a good book to take with you to an appointment as I think it could fill some time.
This is part of a series and you can also get:
- Very first book of things to spot at home – £7.74
- Very first book of things to spot out and about – £7.74
